The Cook Connection buses will pick-up passengers only from the stated bus stops in the towns we visit. These locations are; 

Lake Tekapo

  • Tavern Car Park most commonly used
  • Tekapo Holiday Park and Lakefront Lodge (outside reception)

Twizel

  • Twizel – Market Place (outside the Info centre) most commonly used
  • Twizel - Cycle Journeys (3 Benmore Place) if you have a bike

Glentanner

  • Glentanner Park Centre

Mount Cook

  • The Hermitage Hotel (outside reception) most commonly used
  • Mt Cook YHA
  • Mt Cook Lodge and Motels
  • Unwin Lodge (NZ Alpine Club) 3kms from the village

Oamaru

  • Cycle Journeys Depot - Harbour Tourist Park (5 Esplanade, South Hill)

When making a booking select your pick up spot from the available options.

Be at pick up point 10 minutes before bus departure time to allow for loading. Bus has a scheduled timetable to connect with other transport services.

Pick-up is only available at Tavern Car Park or the Lakefront Backpackers Lodge in the Holiday Park

Twizel

Pick-up is only available at Twizel Market Place (outside the Info centre)

Pick-up is only available at the locations listed in the Mt Cook Pick up points at the top of the page.

Glentanner

Pick-up is at Glentanner Park Centre
